Let's Visit Glasgow

Glasgow is one of the famous cities in Scotland, so in this post I'm going to make you discover some places I went to during my Erasmus experience. Even if the sun is not always there, Glasgow offers a lot of activities. So enjoy it!

 The West End

The West End is really accessible by subway, and it's definitely one of my favourite parts of Glasgow. It's beautiful, you can go for a walk and browse the several trendy Vintage Clothing Shop.

Also, you can visit the Glasgow Botanic Gardens which is really peaceful and resourcing.

Ashton Lane, famous for its pretty fairy lights twinkling and its convivial atmosphere. You can enjoy a drink or have something to eat, in the several trendy bars and restaurants around.

The Floating Heads installation of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is one of Scotland's most popular free museums, situated next to the University of Glasgow and the Kelvingrove park, which are really worth a visit!

 City centre
During the day and at night, we can enjoy the vibrant ambience of Glasgow city centre. For the shopaholics, Buchanan street is the main shopping street with an abundance of shops.

Viewing platform at the Lighthouse
The helical staircase at the Lighthouse
The Lighthouse, it's a museum where you can climb the staircase designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh and get access to a panoramic view of the city, splendid !

Sloans entrance
After a good shopping and museum day, it's time to go in a friendly bar. Sloans is one of my favourite bars, with its warm outdoor atmosphere.

There are many others places to discover and I'm looking forward to discovering more of this beautiful city. Thank you for you reading, I hope you have enjoyed this tour of Glasgow, and we will see you next week for the 4th post " Places to visit in Scotland " ðŸ˜‰
